This week’s theme is a seasonal pond exploration. Weather permitting, we’ll take a walk to Odiorne Point’s freshwater pond to see if there are any seasonal differences from our fall pond walk. If it’s too cold, we’ll look at pond water under microscopes and explore some pond animal adaptations from our cozy indoor location at the Science Center.
Big Fish Little Fish is a weekly program for children ages 3-5, held Fridays, 9:30-10:30am, where kids and their favorite adults actively explore and learn about the habitats of Odiorne Point State Park together. Adventures are designed to inspire curiosity and a sense of wonder, and to empower and build a child’s confidence as a young scientist and naturalist.
Drop in or pre-register to save $2 per child.
Pre-registration cost: $8 for member children; $10 non-member children
Day-of cost: $10 for member children; $12 non-member children
There is no fee for adults who attend the program, however admission will be charged for non-member adults who choose to stay and visit the Center after the program.
