Brad Terry, jazz clarinetist and virtuoso whistler, who has played alongside Dizzy Gillespie, Doc Cheatham, Buck Clayton and many more is coming to PMAC! On Thursday, January 19, Terry will offer an informal afternoon performance and an evening concert in our Haas Family Recital Hall.
The casual performance, including an open dialog with the audience (at 4:30pm) is free and open to the public, and is a collaboration with the Seacoast Jazz Society as part of their Seacoast Jazz Appreciation Project.
The concert (at 7pm) will feature Brad Terry on clarinet, Peter Herman on guitar, Vaughn Deforest on bass and Terry Macdonald on drums.

Terry, who now resides in Bath, Maine, has led Jazz workshops and clinics around the world. In recent years, he has been touring and recording as a duo with Polish pianist Joachim Mencel. They can be heard together on the recordings “All About Spring” and “Live at Fort Andross.”
The most recognized album featuring Brad Terry is The Living Room Tapes, featuring his earlier work with legendary guitarist Lenny Breau. Terry is also an accomplished and virtuoso whistler. This unique talent is featured on “Blues for Carole” from these sessions.
