Multiple Juno Award winner (including Album of the Year) David Francey is a Scottish-born Canadian carpernter-turned-songwriter, who has been called “one of Canada’s most revered folk poets and singers” (Toronto Star).
Born in Ayrshire, Scotland, to parents who were factory workers, he moved to Canada when he was twelve. In concert, David is a singer and a storyteller who can establish, in minutes, a personal rapport with his audinece. His wry humor and astute observations combined with his openhearted singing style have earned him a loyal following.
Special guest Craig Werth served as full-time accompanist/co-arranger for David Francey before touring internationally with his own material. Craig has three original solo albums, and one collaboration recording with Guy Capecalatro III. We’re thrilled to bring these two musicians back on stage for a stellar evening of exceptional music.
