Design Disruptors, created by InVision a leading design collaboration platform, represents deep conversations with over 90 top product designers and design leaders from today’s most disruptive and significant companies. Elle magazine recently said of the film, “The documentary itself features 15 industry-disrupting companies, valued at more than $1 trillion combined, and the common link powering them: a fierce focus on customer-centric product design. It reveals the transformative power of design, and an undeniable truth: design has emerged as the very currency of business today.”
The film provides an exclusive look into the processes, perspectives, and approaches of the product design and user experience (UX) leaders at the world’s foremost technology companies, including Airbnb, Coursera, Dropbox, Etsy, Eventbrite, Evernote, Facebook, Google Ventures, HubSpot, MailChimp, Netflix, Pinterest, Salesforce, Spotify, Twitter, Xero, Zendesk, and more. And it reveals how they are overtaking billion dollar industries through design. Set as a series of snapshots the film follows renowned designers into their secret worlds to demystify how the design choice they’ve made directly impact the viewers daily life.
This screening has been made possible by Calypso Communications, a boutique marketing, public relations, and creative agency in Portsmouth. And is brought to 3S Artspace by Cora Paradiso of Hawthorn Creative, and Catherine Stewart of Film Unbound.
